Deciding on the best education for your child is one of the most important decisions a parent can make.
Choosing a Catholic school within our diocese means investing in a values-based education that nurtures the development of the whole person - spiritually, academically, and socially.
A Welcoming and Inclusive Environment
Catholic schools provide a safe, nurturing space for children and young people where every child’s wellbeing, achievement, and creativity are prioritised. They foster a respectful close-knit community, where students feel valued, supported and empowered to grow.
Faith, Learning, and Life
Faith is woven into daily life at our schools, with religious education, prayer, and sacraments at the heart of school-life. Students are encouraged to grow in faith, engage in community service, and work toward social justice, shaping compassionate and ethical individuals.
Partnership with Families
We recognise that parents and guardians play a vital role in education. By working together, schools and families create a strong, open, and respectful partnership - promoting effective communication and shared aspirations for every student.
Research shows life-long benefits of a Catholic Education
Recent research shows that students attending Catholic schools often enjoy better employment opportunities, earn higher wages (4-11% higher on average), improved health, and greater overall life satisfaction. Additionally, Catholic education encourages community involvement and philanthropy, helping to shape well-rounded, socially responsible individuals.
The Centre for International Research on Education Systems (CIRES) at Victoria University conducted this research using data from the Household, Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia (HILDA) Survey data.
