Staff across the Diocese of Sale celebrated World Teachers’ Day on Friday 29 October.

Director of Education for the Diocese of Sale, Ms Maria Kirkwood, sent a message to staff thanking them for “walking beside their school communities with courage and faith”.

Ms Kirkwood said teachers across Victoria have faced an array of new challenges this year and commended them for their continued hard work and dedication.

“We aspire to see our students thrive in the world; to be confident, competent and connected. I am thankful for the contributions of everyone involved in Catholic Education in our schools, as staff continue to bring life to our vocation of Inspiring Faith, Inspiring Learning.

“Happy World Teachers’ Day to all of the school staff across our Diocese,” she said.
