St Patrick's Pakenham Feast Day Celebration
The St Patrick’s Primary School community at Pakenham came together to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Feast Day with an enriching day of activities. The celebrations began with a whole-school Mass, where students and staff gathered in prayer and reflection.
Dressed in house colours, students participated in four engaging activities that deepened their understanding of St Patrick’s legacy:
Pilgrims of Hope – Students embarked on a meaningful journey around the school, exploring and learning about three important sculptures that hold special significance to our community.
Digi Tech – In this session, students created digital clovers, symbolising the Holy Trinity, an important element of St Patrick’s teachings.
Art – Creativity flourished as students worked together to craft a beautiful chain of clovers, representing unity and faith.
Irish Escape Room – The school stadium was transformed into an exciting Irish-themed escape room, where students worked collaboratively to solve puzzles and challenges inspired by Irish culture and history.
To conclude the celebrations, a sausage sizzle lunch brought the school community together in a fun and festive atmosphere.
The day was a wonderful celebration of faith, community, and learning, honoring the spirit of St Patrick.
