First Day - Accelerated Bachelor of Education

Today marks the first day for 29 Education Support Officers as they embark on their journey towards earning an Accelerated Bachelor of Education (Primary) with Swinburne University of Technology!

The participants, from Catholic schools across our Diocese, are diving into a week-long intensive study block at Sion House in Warragul.

The three-year accelerated Bachelor of Education program is a DOSCEL sponsored study initiative.

The partnership between DOSCEL and Swinburne aims to address the pressing issue of teacher shortages by tailoring a teacher education program specifically for current Education Support staff working within the Diocese.
