World Teachers' Day
World Teachers' Day is celebrated in the Diocese of Sale each year usually falling on the last Friday in October. the day aims to recognise the hard work of teachers and staff in Inspiring Faith and Inspiring Learning every day. Learning Adjustment and Religious Education Leader, Miss Amy Goldsmith and Year 1 Classroom Teacher Miss Jemma Horan from St Mary's Primary School in Sale wearing the reusable face masks that all teachers in the Diocese received as a gift. The masks were sourced from local organisations that support marginalised groups, including Sister Works and Alperstein Designs.
